If I had it my way our apartment would be crawling in kitties. But Matt won't let me. I'm lucky we have the two cats that we have, and that's only because they came first.

But I am determined that we will always have cats, and he knows this. We even already have names set up for our next two cats when it's time.

When I lived in the country I had bunches of cats, but since switching to apartment dwelling, I've stuck to one.

However, yesterday I stopped at Petsmart to buy Slink some treats and a new toy and stopped by the adoption section. There was a beautiful Maine Coon there and it was so hard to walk away. . .

Yeah. I try not to go by the adoption section for that very reason.

My heart would have melted. Maine Coons are awesome cats, and very unique. I've already decided that my next cat will be a maine coon.

They are gorgeous cats. I think the next cat I'd like to have will be an Ocicat or a ragdoll. We'll probably go through a rescue or perhaps get a retired cat.
