My copy was waiting for me when I got home yesterday from work! I'm nearly done reading it, it's hilarious! Like a cross between a biograpy, an instruction manual and The Colbert Report (there's even the Word! It's in the margins! :jg: )

I really want to get my hands on that!  Then again, I also want to try to find Jon Stewarts book...  They don't seem to be selling much in Japan for some reason ;)

There's a crapload of them at my campus bookstore, AND we get them for 50% off. I've never seen Colbert Report though so I wasn't planning on picking one up. Is he funny?

If you like social/political satire, he's hilarious. I watch the Colbert Report nearly every night.

I pre-ordered mine from Amazon.com. Maybe you could try them? I think they're international, aren't they? Or are they?

The Colbert Report is one of the funniest political satire shows out there.  IT's on comedy central.  i highly recommend.

Steven Colbert started out as a reporter for Jon Stewart and then moved to a show of his own right after.  He's kind of the conservative balance to the liberal Daily Show.

You can watch clips here:  http://www.comedycentral.com/shows/the_ ... ndex.jhtml

Balance is highly appreciated  ;)

Well, I have to say, I was pretty impressed Lynne Chaney was on the Daily Show this week!  It was really fun to watch :D

Its pretty sad, though, I have to say, when the most honest and balanced news shows are on Comedy Central XD

Kaysea

We get both shows on the comedy channel, can't say I'm impressed with either, but then again its American politics and all 'in' jokes, really.

Have no clue why we get the over here.

Anyone who can only think of only one way to spell a word obviously lacks imagination.

My husband (wow thats still weird to say) picked it up Wed, only because he couldn't find it Tuesday.  He said he was disapointed when Monday night before midnight that was when Colbert said something about people dressing up as him waiting for the book to come out because Jay did not have time to procure a proper Colbert outfit for when he got it.

(Jay dressed up as a Pirate when he picked up a copy of the Flying Spageti Monster book way back... the bookstore people thought it was hilarious)

I only read a few pages, had a really rough week, and the humor wasn't quite the right thing.  I'm guessing we'll both be fighting for the book this weekend.
