The Paint Can Crew.

I like it!

And yeah, on an aside from the question of my sanity...

Patrick would have to have lost it to be in Bree's paint shed. Because that means he voluntarily went to Birmingham. And coming from someone who spent far too much time there, I can tell ya, that's not something a sane person does!

Soooooo, Patrick, whats with the weirdness of being in Bree's paint shed?

Mikel

Quote from: "Cae"The paint can was kinda nice.

It was all squishy and paint-fumey and lightless and bookless and OMG I'm so not sane!

But I'm more okay than Mikel.

Strangely, that makes me feel much better!

Oh yeah -- like Mikel has room to say that about anyone.

The paint can was nice, wasn't it?

It's ok, Cae.
You're ok.
I'm ok.
Mikel's not so ok, but that's just Mikel.
[/quote]

So, what you are saying is the more than being a name, Mikel is a state of being?

I can live with that.

You really haven't any choice in the matter, do you?

Quote from: "Bree"That begs a very important question...
Patrick! What were you doing in my paint shed???  :skeptisch:

It's probably the usual story: too much Benden™ wine just before a mating flight... :clown:

Unlike certain others around here, I won't even try to pass for sane. Then again, is there anyone here who would want me any other way? ;)

Devin

Welcome back Kaysea!

Sanity is overrated. ;)

Kaysea

Thanks for the welcome Becki!

Sanity may be over-rated, but around here it's at a premium! :P

Quote from: "Jane"I call them 'the returnees'.  Of course, I'm not really one of them because this is my first time in Triad Weyrs.

Welcome back, anyway.

Hey Jane! I was right.....

some of us are Ancients....

http://www.triadweyrs.org/faq.php?q=words

Ancients - The original colonists of Pern and their early descendants.
(or in this case, the original writers of Triad - and I guess this answers some of the queries of whether you are an Oldie, a Newbie or an Ancient...)

No, indeed.  You are The Oldtimers.

Remember Anne's Oldtimers?  They left suddenly ... arrived back at a place they knew but separated by time from their memories of it?  Things had changed?  People they knew were know longer around?  There were some adjustment issues, but the vast majority adapted to the 'new' Pern

They arrived in a big bunch, too. ;)

I don't know about the old reference --
except for Mikel.

I think our status as original colonist out weighs our returnee/oldtimer status.

Bree

Actually, your status as newbies outweighs all. :D

Love y'all, but you're the babies. If you're really, really nice and thank Patrick for letting you out of the paint can, I'll tell the big kids not to pick on you.

As for you picking on each other... well, I know a losing battle when I see one!

Thank you, Patrick.
