Setting up your TriadWeyrs email address to go to your GMAIL account.

I've done this with my gmail and my triad account. I never actually go into my triad account but get and send all my triad mail from gmail.

Here is how you set it up:

• First you have to sign up for a gmail account if you don't already have one.
• Click the gear icon at the top right of your inbox > click settings on the drop down menu.
• At the top of the page is a text menu: click on [Accounts and Import]
• Now you're going to do two things. First go to the [Send Mail As] and add your triad account name. Uncheck [treat as Alias] (this will confuse your inbox if you don't) If you have questions about why, go ahead and read the documentation link attached. Make sure you select [Reply from the same address the message was sent to]
• Select "Send through Gmail" it really is easier to set up.
• Next: go to the Check mail from other accounts (using POP3): Here you are going to set your gmail to go retrieve your mail.
    1. Put in your email and password.
    2. [s:1gufmzeb]dime19.dizinc.com is the server name and Port: 110[/s:1gufmzeb]
    2. mail.triadweyrs.org is the new server name and Port: 110
    3. If you use labels to organize your inbox you can designate a label for incoming messages.
    4. I don't leave a copy of the retrieved message on the server so my triad inbox doesn't get full.
• Click Save

I have my settings to retrieve email every 5 minutes. It sends immediately.

Bumping this topic for the move of the site.  While we can't log into email and send from the site at the time of this writing. You can send mail from your gmail account AS your triad account. Effectively impersonating yourself.

Is there a way to check how much space you're using?
