If I were to buy one with my reward points, can they be located anywhere and for any one of my personae?

I'm just going to quote the website's FAQ:

Firelizards are relatively common in our version of Pern - however, they are still precious, and usually only Impressed by those who are wealthy or high-ranking, or those who discover them by accident. Since gold firelizards lay their eggs on sandy beaches, this is much more common among dragonriders (who can travel to the beaches) and in coastal Holds and Halls. A low-ranking drudge would be extremely unlikely to have a firelizard in inland Holds such as Emerald Falls.

Due to the fact that firelizards will mature much faster than their human lifemates, the minimum age requirement for flits is the same as that of dragons - twelve (12) turns of age at least.

A member may not have more than one gold firelizard. These are minor rank, with a posting requirement of one post per month for the owner persona.

So any of your personas older than 12 with a plausible way of getting a gold firelizard egg would be suitable, according to what is written above, but you only get one, so choose wisely

So there's no maximum amount of them at any particular location?

Not that I can see in the FAQ.

I'm sure Council would make you aware of something like that when you email them and ask them for the gold flit egg
