Bonus Locations? and a couple of new characters...

Firstly, bonus locations:

- Am I right in thinking, SWE, is, 'elsewhere on pern' ?
- Also, do personas submitted for bonus locations count based on when they were submitted, or when they were approved? (For example, Taelana was submitted on June 26th, but Approved July 2nd). I'm not worried either way, I just mostly want to check so that I know to submit a persona a bit earlier in the month if needed.

Secondly, my new dragonrider

- Well, as I mentioned in another thread, I've been thinking about creating a male greenrider. He's one I've had elsewhere in the past, but I'm not currently playing... and I miss him a little bit... lol
- J'yll is male, however, he is - well, fairly androgynous. He was a weaver pre-impression, and he enjoys wearing 'pretty' clothes... and he doesn't make a huge distinction between male and female clothing. He tends to keep his hair on the longer side of average for a rider (it will still go under his riding hat, but, it's definitely not 'short'). So, yeah, it's not uncommon for him to be mistaken for a woman from time to time - a bit of a tall flat chested one, but it's not impossible to make the mistake (and sometimes he exploits the fact he can confuse people - for the fun of it).  Since this is a bit, 'interesting/unusual', I wanted to clarify whether this would be an acceptable sort of character or not?
- I'm considering him throwing him over at RBW as a searchrider... I can't see search rider on the ranking personas lists, but am I right in thinking he's not considered a rank level persona? (nb. I'd probably have him 'behave' with the whole clothes thing when searching outside the Weyr, because he does get hold/hall people aren't as accepting, and wouldn't want to - like - cause trouble for the Weyr)
- Also, I checked the site but wasn't 100% certain on the answer to this - would I be able to create him with a firelizard (green/blue)? Or are they limited to being purchased with member rewards?

Crafting at the Weyr?

- Am I right in thinking a female dragonhealer at a Weyr would be an option? The character I was thinking of, is (when I've played her in the past) Hallbred, but, I'm thinking perhaps her father could have got placed at the Weyr, and so, she perhaps apprenticed once she got to the Weyr. I've read the FAQ, and I think that would be permissible, but since I'm asking loads of questions, one more won't hurt - right?

Runner Craft?

- I've not seen anything about runners as PC, or at a Played Location... but is there a Runner Station set up anywhere (attached/on the edge of a hold/hall perhaps?) I'm vaguely toying with a character at the moment, for quite a way down the line, but he'd work quite nicely as a runner if there was somewhere he could be based (even if he was a Hold/Hall resident who acted as an 'unofficial' runner, as oppose to an actual runner from a runner station).

And, I think I've asked everything that's been pottering around in my mind now... I'll probably have more later though =D (Edit: I knew I forgot something).

Yes, SWE is Elsewhere on Pern.  It stands for "SomeWhere Else".  I'm not sure about the persona bonus question.  

You can create your dragonrider with a green or blue firelizard.

Yes, a female dragonhealer would be allowed at the weyr.

The other questions, I don't hold enough confidence in to give answers.  Hopefully someone will reply soon!

I'm thinking I may skip J'yll in favour of the dragonhealer for now (even if that will give me 3 girls and 0 boys, lol), so there is no rush for an answer about him for a while since I'm still on mentorship-ie-3-characters.

Sorry, I was able to reply to posts, but I was not able to access the forums for a while because of work, so sorry that I wasn't faster getting back to you.

Firstly, bonus locations:
I believe it goes from the date it was approved.  If you ever have that problem (submitted one month and approved later) please ask the Council about it.  If it was the PA that delayed it, or if you were actively trying to change the persona sheet in order to make them ready for approval, then we can probably still give you the marks.  If, however, you submitted a persona in one month, received a reply from the PA, but took a week or two to make changes to the persona, then it might be harder to grant you the marks.  I hope that helps!

Secondly, my new dragonrider
A transvestite dragonrider would not be unheard of (though he would have to dress concervitively if he were on official business outside the Weyr).
He can have up to three firelizards (since the limit is 3 pets persona) at the time he is submitted and it costs you no marks.  it is only after the persona is approved that marks would be charged.  Also, they can be any color but gold.  Gold would require special approval from the L1 and Council as that would make the persona a ranker.
As far as making in a Searchrider, you would need to ask the L1 in the area directly.

Crafting at the Weyr?
She could become a dragonhealer at the Weyr (though not above the rank of apprentice unless she Impresses).  Her father transfering in to the Weyr would require a very good reason, since there is no contract relationship between the Halls and the Weyr (even those currently located at a weyr).  He would have to have a very good reason for the Hall to transfer him there.

Runner Craft?

There are no PC runner stations at the moment, but each Hold would probably have a station with several runners (to take messages between the Main hold and smaller holds as well as between major Holds) and there would be runners stations between smaller Holds.

I will keep an eye on what happens with the marks for Tae, but I'm not worried if I actually receive them or not - it was mostly for future reference.  

Illista we've talked about a fair bit now in the course of our post, but, I think I've made her father's relocation reasonable (he was a weyrbrat, who moved to the hold to marry Ill's mother, then moved back to the Weyr when she died), but, I will edit things if needed. She's leaning towards being my next persona anyways now, so, should soon have a Persona Sheet to send in for her.

Greenrider/Runner questions - again, thank you. They both answer me perfectly.
