Say what?

Yep, last will and testament.

No, I'm not planning on disappearing anywhere, but I realised that things can happen.  Car accident, not waking up from surgery (I'm not really worried, but there is that possibility), that sort of thing.  So here I'd like to put my last will and testament for my characters.

Should I suddenly for no reason disappear without warning, after three months of no communication, I would like the following to occur.

Vix shall inherit my character Marida and any NPCs I am writing for her.

Jane shall inherit my characters Zelle and Briata and any NPCs I am writing for her.

Cali shall inherit my characters Ri'len, Meledei (with Council approval of course), and Zathris (again, with Council approval), and any NPCs I am writing for her.

Kaysea shall inherit my characters Irlani, Eliste, and any NPCs I am writing for her.

Lirit and J'ren who at this point in time are not connected with anyone, shall be retired permanently.  Should any characters become majorly involved with them in the future, I would like them to be given to the players of those characters.

Becki shall inherit my character Edele and any NPCs I am writing for her.

Hopefully nothing will happen, but hey, at least no one will be left hanging, just in case.

You've got a good point though, it's not a bad idea to have something written down just in case, especially since some characters are hugely intertwined with other writers characters.

Looking through my list though, I realized that I have quite a few loners that don't seem very connected and could easily just disappear. That being said, if I should disappear for 3 months with no announced LOA, please do the following.

Barthella, Tavern Head Cook, Vintner Hall -- She can run off with a man and be retired.
B'lamick, Wingrider, Torrent Wing, River Bluff Weyr -- Jane can adopt/give away or retire as she sees fit.
B'vin, Wingrider, Cyclone Wing, Dolphin Cove Weyr -- He can be adopted out.
F'gol, Junior Weyrling, Dolphin Cove Weyr -- Amanda can adopt/give away or retire as she sees fit.
Karri, Weyrlingstaff Assistant, Dragonsfall Weyr -- She can be adopted out.
Mosler, Hall Resident, Dolphin Hall -- He can be retired, lost to the pirates. ;)
Sorsha, Junior Weyrling, Dolphin Cove Weyr -- Amanda can adopt/give away or retire as she sees fit.
Trellyn, Senior Journeyman Dolphineer, Dolphin Hall -- She can transfer back to Topaz and be retired.
T'kob, Weyrlingmaster, Dolphin Cove Weyr -- Becki can adopt/give away or retire as she sees fit.
Y'nub, Wingrider, Dragonsfall Weyr -- He can be retired, transferred someplace else.

Any of those that I've chosen to retire, if you're interested in being a godparent, just let me know

Edit:  Oh, and of course, any NPC's I might have written for are fair game for anyone since they are NPC's ;)
