Today Kurt took the day off so I could have a quilting day.  I went down to one of the two quilt shops local to us and rented a longarm quilting machine to quilt my sis in law's quilt.  If you don't know what a longarm is, look it up.  They're lots of fun.

So now I have two quilts that are quilted and need to be bound.  These will be quilts number eleven and twelve for the year.  Yay!

So what did you guys do today? :)

Let's see...

Took my dad to his Doctor's appointment
When to b'fast with the 'rents at Cracker Barrel
Got a haircut (so much quicker than it used to be)
Shipped my friend's Kushiel books back to Memphis
Aforementioned friend is re-reading Pern books in anticipation of at least auditing Triad
Bought a frame for a picture of my Grandson

Whew!  I'm exhausted

Oh, yeah.  Did some posting as well

This was technically yesterday but still...
I took my 2 kids and my 3 young cousins to a big pumpkin patch... where it started raining and then HAILED on us 3 times.
Then since our expected 3-4 hours of pumpkin fun turned into a 1/2 hour, we went to Chuck E Cheese and ate pizza and crawled around in tunnels all afternoon.

Yesterday I worked from 7 to 4, went to the bank and the post office, and then picked up some Del Taco for dinner.  Then I came home, popped open some sparkling Pink Lemonade from Trader Joe's, watched Rosalind Russell's "Auntie Mame" and after that, William Powell's "Life With Father".  :)  Then I read for 10 minutes and went to sleep.  Today, I've cleaned some of the house, read, avoided writing a big paper, and tonight I'm going out to eat with my brother and little cousins.
