Okay, so I've been busting my butt on this quilt (in case those of you were wondering why you're not getting replies as quickly as normal).  I have to have the top finished by Thursday so I can actually quilt it on Friday using a longarm machine.

Anyway, I digress.  The main part of the top is larger than expected.  This is supposed to be a twin quilt but it's already twin sized!  So, instead of adding two borders as planned, I'm pondering whether or not I should just leave them off.  Kurt thinks I should do at least one border.

This is where you come in!  Which do you think I should do?

With a border?  http://www.blar.net/amanda/quilts/wborders.jpg.png

Or without?  http://www.blar.net/amanda/quilts/woutborders.jpg.png

Now I know most of you aren't quilters, but that doesn't mean you can't give me your opinion. ;-)

With border, it's somehow clearer that way. Without it looked like a headache. Sorry, Amanda but it did.

With border -- though I still couldn't look at it for very long.

It doesn't have the headache-inducing effect in real life, I can guarantee. ;)
"Who?"
"The poor."
"The poor?"

If you say so, brother.  And I would guess that cloth is a bit less intense than electrons.

But I vote for borders

The colours aren't quite that intense, but it was easier to show with and without border using pixels. :)

I'll post a picture when it's done!

Btw, I did add a single border. The quilt is now 4 inches shy of being a 'full size' quilt.  so a bit bigger than a twin. :-D  The length is actually almost queen size!  Of course, it will shrink a bit once I trim and square it. ;-D
