My husband's sister got married last friday. The wedding was held here in Finland and it was rather small, about 50 quests (but half of them were brits.) The wedding ceremony was held in both languages. Looks like the lutheric church and anglic church recoqnize eatch other and their ceremonies are close enough. The poor priest wasn't very good with english though.

But the bride was beautiful, the groom handsome (and tall, I danced with him) and everyone got drunk (well, almost anyway.)   English can drink as well (or bad) as Finns. The groom's brother's wife passed out at the bar. In general, we have a great time.

You obviously haven't been to many weddings in England then *g* Usually not complete without at least one drunk, several hangovers and someone vowing never to drink again.....  opr at least that was the story at the last two weddings I went to in this country.

The last wedding I went to was abroad and it was so hot we went on an ice lolly hunt at 10pm!!!
