Infirmary question

If someone is sick, are they always going to be taken to the infirmary?  Or would they stay in their quarters if someone was able to look after them?

I think it would be the same as we do now.  If its just a cold, we'd probably not go to the doctor unless we thought it was out of hand.  

If it were some kind of highly contagious disease, however, they would probably be kept in quarentine just because there are so many people living so close together.

If it were something terminal, I think they would try to make the patient as comfortable as possible, whever that might be.
