What kind of stories would they have on Pern?  Would Shakespeare and TEnnyson have survived, perhaps their names having evolved?  

What about new stories?  Would authors write stories about other worlds?

No Terran works would have survived under their original names or new names (though so many stories are universal, so there are probably stories that have been written with some plot similarities or themes).

I don't think in our version of Pern there would have been stories of other worlds.  Perhaps other possibile Perns (like if Thread had never fallen, or if all the dragons had died kind of thing) but in Triad we try to keep things to Pern.
