Would someone people tell my children that it's past 10pm and they need to go to bed?

Shut them in a safe room and go to bed yourself.

Amanda N

The problem is, Kat is in the children's room and we put Matthew in our room.  Otherwise, they keep each other awake all the time (instead of the occasional random times like tonight).  So, if both of them are awake, they're just going to keep each other awake even longer.  This makes for a bad day in the morning!

I remember when Gabi (my little sister) refused to go to bed. Man, I'm glad I don't have kids. Sorry, I have no idea what you can do.

We finally turned on the air because we realised they were probably hot (it was around 80 in the house).  They seemed to settle down after that.  PHEW. :)

Really, with all the trials associated with children, it's still one of the most wonderful things in the world having them!

Wow that's hot. Why's your house so hot?

Because she lives in Texas?

My kids usually go to bed around 7 - 8 pm, and they're up and about 5:45 am, at least my daughter is. And she dressed all by herself this morning when mom was doing her make-up!

Yep, because we live in Texas and it was something like 84 outside yesterday.  86 today.

We put ours down at 8.30, get them up around 630 for breakfast, then put them back down around 7 to sleep until 9 or so.  Mine are only 3 and 1.5. :)

Oh, I didn't know. I always assume people live where it's colder, like me. We had snow yesterday here in Oregon.

We had sleet this morning.  The heavens opened literally as I got to my office. Athough it did get up to 7c (45f) eventually today.

We had snow a couple of weeks ago.  We got about 6 inches.  It was fun!  I have pictures but haven't put them up as of yet.
