Yes, Happy Thanksgiving (Merry Thanksgiving?) to the folk who do the Thanksgiving thing.

Happy Thanksgiving indeed! :D

(As far as I know, we just use Merry for Christmas! :D  On Thanksgiving you shouldn't be Merry...you should be slightly queasy from all that food!)

I had a Happy Thanksgiving!  I won one of the $79 Wiis that Amazon was giving away.  :D  Yaaay!

Unfortunately Japan doesn't have turkey, so my Texan neighbor and I sat around eating Kentucky Fried Chicken (a traditional CHRISTMAS food in Japan) and making fun of his Aussie girlfriend while she played the Never-Ending Movie Quiz.  It was a good Thanksgiving :D

lol  Well, usually its me and her ganging up against him, so this time in the spirit of Thanksgiving the Americans banded together this time :angel:

Now I could accept that if it were American Independence Day, after all it was freedom from the Poms that you were celebrating,  and aussies are just Poms with criminal records (*chuckles*) but Thanksgiving?  Ah! I get it, giving thanks that you guys were the free settlers and not the crims.   *cheeky grin*

Woo! Wii! They are SO MUCH FUN!

I already had Thanksgiving, so there is no turkey for me. Alas. Oh well - I have a chicken breast in the fridge dethawing, so I might do something interesting with that. Or not! *g*

Phew! 17 adults and 3 children at Thanksgiving dinner!

The turkey is now nearly bones, but we are all STUFFED!

We make a list every year of the things we are thankful for (I know it should be "for which we are thankful", but I think it sounds pretentious...anyway...). Honestly, Triad was on my list. I look forward every day...several times a day...to reading what you've written on our coposts, or reading stories, or reading the forum. It is truly one of the best parts of my day. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of something so creative and exciting.

Hope everyone spent the day exactly as they wanted!
