What's good and bad in your life right now?  What's interfering with you doing all you want here in the club - and sometimes it's the blessings doing that!  Work, school, family, weather, illness.  Why not let us know where you're at?

    The Blessings:

Most topical one today is that the beloved cat from next door was found safe and well after being missing outside for 18 hours.  Annie being missing yesterday pretty much cut out my Triad time as we went door-knocking to try to find her.

    The Blues:

That contract job - supposed to be finished by now - is still out there waiting to pounce.  But, then again, my husband has resigned from his job so he'll be able to help with the contract work when it does arrive.  The contract will trash my on-line time to probably two quick checks a day.

    The Blessings:

I'm not working right now. That allows me more online time.

    The Blues:

I'm not working right now. I've got to submit job applications, participate in phone interviews, and now run off for face-to-face meetings. Add to that the worries over money and the emotional ups and downs involved in a job search, and my enthusiasm ebbs and wanes.

The Blessings: We just got back from vacation and overall had a very nice break.  My daughter is turning five tomorrow.  My kids are healthy and happy.  We just paid off yet another loan and we seem to be making ends meet with a little left over.

The Blues:  My extended family (and my husband's) is all a mess with stress and drama which we are empathizing with and being supportive of but trying really hard not to OWN!  Also, I just got off vacation and I'm going back to work and I'm still recovering from being on vacation!

Blessings:  My roommate from six years ago got married last night and I was asked to give the toast at the "second party" which is actually a great honor and I was touched.  And I was able to get through it in Japanese!  And I also have been able to meet 12 friends so far that I hadn't met in years, and I talked to a few others by phone.  Sounds like I have to come back up to Tokyo next month for a big reunion party with about 50 exchange students friends!

Blues:  I have to go back home tomorrow and go back to real life.  And I have to fly which I actually don't really like much  :geek:

Blessings: My two dogs and my husband! Getting myself physically fit for my new career path that I'm going towards.

Blues: The stress level of my current job and having to go back to school in August. Also, having my in-laws living with me.

Blessings: Business is finally picking up and definitely gathering speed  :)  There hasn't been any more hospital scares in my family, thank God.  I'm seeing more of my little cousins this summer and getting closer to them.  My friends are well, and I'm seeing a lot of them too  *g*

Blues: I'll be turning 20 in a month or so.  I'm a little sad that I'll be leaving teenagehood behind, but I'm excited at the same time  :)  Oh, and I only have about a little over a month of summer vacation left...that's kind of sad too  *g*

BLESSINGS: I have a job in my field, a great boyfriend, a nice apartment, and I'm on my week off. WOO HOO!

BLUES: I'm signed up for another 2 three week shifts, working 21 days straight for 10 hour days. My fingers hurt, and I didn't have any internet for the past 3 weeks. It was sad.

Blessings: I graduated from college, got a job, and the hubby finally got offered a new year-long contract a few days ago. So we're not gonna get evicted!

Blues: There's been so much death and stress and drama over the past year that my nerves are shot! And they just won't seem to calm down until the legal fighting is done. And my family is, as always, in various states of rehab and/or jail. ;) Alas.

Blessings: I have a new job for the fall! My husband and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary recently. My health as awful as it is, there could be worse problems.

Blues: Possibility of no insurance for two months unless COBRA lets me continue it until the district's insurance picks up Sept. 1st. Stress of having to make it through July and August on very little money as I transition from the office to teaching school.

The Blessings: I have a fabulous career, I make good money and I just moved into a new place on my own.  I've also been asked to be on the Kid's Ministry leadership team for my church, and that is wonderful :) Kid's ministry is where my heart is, and I'm so glad to finally be doing what I've always wanted to do.

    The Blues:
I'm single and I hate it.  Even a nice guy to date and kiss would be welcome.  While my career is great, I never wanted to be a career lady.  I want a family and kids.  And I'm about to be 34.  Thats the blues.   Even though I make good money, I stay broke all the time because I OWE so much.  I just moved and it cost more than I make in a month to move.  I'm still recovering from that.  I'm incredibly busy and have little time for me or Triad.  Thats definitely a Blues!

    The Blessings:

I'm still in New Jersey, living with Eric, and I'm not going to have to drop out of college entirely.

    The Blues:

I have to drop out of my summer class; Eric and I are at college from 9AM to 9PM and don't get home till 10:30PM; I can only afford 2 classes in the fall unless I get a cosigner.

The Blessings: I have all of my kids at home right now. (Though wait, is that a blues???)  My eldest is home from Uni for the holidays, so we're all playing catch up.  Ummm... my mum is still safe in the UK despite all the dramas from there right now.  My PC is still working, despite the overload from the kids this school holidays.  I'm being a good girl and actually attended the gym twice in the past fortnight!!!

The Blues:  Illness, illness and more illness....  Just when one of us gets over something, someone else catches another bug.  I was nursing my three year old with a 40.9C temp the other night (105.6F).  Another .1 of a degree and we'd have been off to the hospital.  She's developed another ear, nose and throat infection that her older sister brought home from church camp last week. *oh joy*  We're trying to keep infections to a minimum in case of that all important phone call from the transplant team, but we're doing a lousy job of it at the moment. *frowns*

    Blessings:
Only three days left and my summervacation starts. We got Nintendo Wii (and Zelda) (actually it's my son's birthday present, he's going to get it month and half early). It's quiet at home, couse my son's away and the daughter gets all the attention. Everyone's healthy. I have birthday.

Blues: Still three days left untill my summer vacation. It means four weeks without Triad. I miss my son, he's been away from home for past two weeks and still three days before I see him. It's my birthday and I'm now 34.
