How do you write?

In both Triad and my original stories, things vary a bit, between "plain character" and "live in my skull full-time"

I have some characters who are exceptionally well defined and live full-fledged in my head as their own semi-seperate entities. Writing them is effortless. These characters include:
-Kapera
-Ishek

Then I have characters who don't live as personalities in my skull, but have their own distinct "voice" I can call up, which makes them easy to write:
-L'pin
-K'ran
-Riveenata (who's a Pernified version of Riveenata from my novel)

Then I have characters who are "just" characters. They don't have their own space in my mind, they don't have their own distinct voice. These are the people I have more trouble coming up with plots for. But I'm a very character person, and even when they don't have a strong voice I can hear in my brain, I like working out who they are and why they do what they do. I don't love them any less, and I'd like to think they can still have interesting voices and lives! Talwynn, Corran, and my NPC Ruumin (L'pin's son, he crops up sometimes) fall into this category.
