F'nor and Kylara and N'ton and that crowd when they came back from timing it in Southern.  Though their peers would have thought they'd been gone (three?) days they would have lived Turns while they were away.  New relationships would have formed.  How did they deal with coming back to people who had seen them three days ago, when they hadn't seen those people for Turns?  Yeah, so not necessarily Anne's characters, but that scenario.  Just seems so darn interesting.

And the Oldtimers.  They must have lost a lot of contacts from outside the Weyr.  Children fostered there?  The people they knew replaced by people with different attitudes.  And surely every woman who came forward pregannt would have lost the baby? And the men wanted to come forward and still be useful - to fight Thread - but what must their mothers / weyrmates have thought about that just when it looked like their menfolk would finally be safe?  The Oldtimer issues Anne wrote about always seemed to me to be the tip of the iceberg (the F'lar perspective iceberg, at that) and I would love to explore all their issues more.

As you can see, I'm really into that 'time dislocation' thing.  I blame too much old-style sf reading as a child.
:laughing5:

What about other people?  Anything you've always wanted to explore about Pern?

I always wanted to know more about Sorka, Sean, Torene and M'hall and the challenges they had to face.  I know Anne touched on that, but I want to know MORE  :)  Especially events following right after Dragonsdawn.

I always wanted to hear what happened around the First Long Interval.  How weak was the Dragon population?  Where the Weyr's as isolated as Benden had become?  That kind of stuff.  But I suppose it's better not to know cause now I can make it up in my head and smile at my own ingenuity.
