The Weirdest Thing

Well, today I was at the farm where my horse lives (the farm belongs to a friend who graciously allows are horse to live with his other three horses) and since the chickens are going to have babies I was thinking that the ducks should have babies too. Of course, the ducks have no interest in sitting on a nest, so I thought maybe I could take an egg to incubate. So I went off in search of the old eggs (so I could clear them away and hopefully if I find another one layed tomorrow it will be viable) and one of the horses, Inday, followed me. I found the jackpot of eggs in the bushes (more eggs than there are ducks actually) and knelt to clear them out. Apparently Inday was curious about what I was doing, so all the sudden there is a big horse standing right over me and a horse hoof on either side! He nearly stepped on me!  :bounce:

The weirdest thing I saw today was at the gym, it was a weight-lifting kid. Looked to be like 9 or 10 years old and he was lifting WAY more than I ever could! lol

Sorry, Amanda -- I glanced at the index to find the post and Patrick must have been the last to post to it, not the first. At least you got the marks for it.

Unless you and Patrick really are the same person?

Last I checked I wasn't Amanda.  Maybe I missed something?

My weirdest thing was when I was complaining that the only way I could get out of Boy Scouts (my father won't let me leave because "I'm a leader and they need me,"  when I have about six months before I turn 18 and feel like my purpose there is superfluous) was if I kissed a guy.  And my friend Dan said "Then do that."  And It just through me off because Dan is THE STRAIGHTEST guy I know.  It was WEIRD!

And in case you guys are wondering why my profile says I'm already 18, it was a mix up.  I was close enough to 17 that I put it down when I joined and didn't realize it was automated.  So I'm still to young to vote, darn.

QuoteMy goodness.... What did you do to provoke the small child, Eimi? *g* lol

Oh, I see, you automatically assume that it's my fault?   :crybaby:
Naw, I didn't provoke her, besides playing around.  We were eating our "wild game dinner" and she was the daughter of the proprieter.  She was really cute, so all us girls were playing with her.  She's crawl under the table and I'd reach down and grab her feet and slide her out half way out (we were sitting on tatami mats, so there was no rugburn involved) and she's "escape" and crawl back under and I'd pull her out again...  Then she was running past me and I would try to reach out and grab her.  She hid behind another table and I motioned to her to come here and she grinned and flipped me off!  We all were dying laughing :D  (Of course, they know in Japan that flipping someone off is a rude gesture, but it's considered more cool than offensive here)

Dana

That's so funny!  :D
