Drum use in the weyrs?

Do the weyrs (RBW) have drum towers? and if so would a message be sent to another weyr using them.

I'm not sure about RBW in particular off the top of my head, but in our Pern where so many people have flits and with Weyrs in particular having lots of weyrlings and young riders, the weyrs have better ways to send messages. It would really depend on what the message is and who is sending it and why. With DCW having the Harper Hall now, though, it is an interesting question as to what they do now.

Well, *clears throat* speaking on behalf of the Harper Hall, I would think that they would have set up some kind of drum tower at or close by DCW just because the Harper Hall still has to stay in the loop, and that is their main form of communication.
