Someone hasn't replied to my email, what should I do?

Well, first up, in the words of the late, great Douglas Adams, Don't Panic! It is highly unlikely that someone has been abducted by aliens!

First up, check the forums.  It might be that since you emailed them, they've posted a LOA/LIA, so that might be the reason for their radio silence.

Have a look at the calendar, it could be the weekend or a holiday. And for some people that's family time, or friend time, or even date time! Some people work over the weekends, or can get called in at short notice.

Oh, and that holiday thing, with us being spread around the planet, holidays aren't always the same dates, nor do we all have the same holidays.

But you sent that email on Monday morning? Well, that whole planet thing means that for some, it could still be Sunday night (back to the weekend thing) or even into the working day.

Speaking of work, or school, sometimes there are these things called deadlines, and they can change at short notice. Some people might not get a chance to post that this has happened.

So, short version, things, like life, happen and can get in the way of people replying. Or maybe those pesky aliens got there first... You never know!

There's also email failure, because email can be an evil bitch mistress from the darkest pits of hell. If i don't reply in a day or two, then it got stolen by the minions of the email demon.

That happens to me with Earthlink sometimes; apparently it doesn't like e-mails that end with @triadweyrs, so sometimes it doesn't get or send to those addresses. I have no idea why, but I wish it didn't happen; I still prefer using Earthlink to co-post over Gmail.

Every time Avery and I have a post with Kapera, it disappears frequently. If we have two going at once, the other will be fine. They're cursed, cursed I tells ya!
