..that Queen's song describe my life so well right now. That funny little thing called life keeps throwing unexpected obstacles on your way.  To keep it short, my husband is sick. Not just some small cold. While it's not life threatening, it prevents him from working or driving a car and it will take some time to recover. AND I don't have a driving licence. Since we live in suburban, car is kind of nessessary. There's public transportation, but train twice in a hour is not always enough. Kids have hobbies that require driving them around.  :bang:
So...I am now in driving school. At the age of 42, among teens....I'm trying to get driving licence as soon as I can. So, if I apprear absent or disinterested around here, it's because I have lot of on my plate right now.

Hang in there, Paula. I'll be dangling next to you.

Big Hugs Paula! What a rough patch. I hope it goes smoothly and he gets well more quickly than they expect.

And I'm sure you'll be a much better driver than those teenagers.

You learning on an auto or a manual? I know one of my friends who learned to drive a lot later than me said he found an auto easier.

Avery

Good luck learning to drive! I still haven't learned. But I bet Suzee's right - you won't have the cockiness of youth making you think you're invincible. I bet you'll do great.

Manual, I'm afraid, since that's what our car has. No, I'm not a cocky teenager, I'm a middle aged lady, and too aware of all things that can go wrong.
