So, what does your brains say: white-gold or blue-black?

And this from woman who had for years argued with her father if certain neon-colour is yellow or green.
(The one they use in workmens alert-vests).

I've seen this story on TV and know the answer but won't spoil the surprise.  Hehehe

Either way, it's kind of..... fugly.

Leigh

How could that be mistaken for white and gold? ^o_0^

Heather

I don't know how anyone sees anything BUT blue and black.... No matter how you look at blue it's always blue, I'm not sure how anyone gets white out of it.

It's a white and gold dress in shadow, hence the blue and black look. :-)

Well, I can't see any _black_ on it. Blue yes, kind light blueish-grey due the shadow. And the "gold" is more brown.

I really like this because it shows how our brains can work so very differently even with exactly the same inputs - and that our brains are giving us their interpretation of things 100% of the time.

I see it as white/gold but when they showed the same photo on tv I saw it as blue/black.

Yvonne

... I also see it as gold/white. :P

But it is interesting - I can see the blue if I try (and when I saw the work of that clever person who pulled out colour swatches from the dress using Photoshop) but I just cannot see the black. I haven't seen it on a TV tho ... hmmm ...
