Happy New Year! Here's to 2015 being a kinder, more thoughtful year than the horrors of 2014 (ISIS beheadings, Nigerian school girls being kidnapped, ebola killing so many people in the three countries in Africa, the on-going Gaza/Israel hatefest, Russia's despicable treatment of LGBT persons, the Ukraine conflict, that whole cop/African-American killings, etc etc). I want the world to have a 2015 that feels like the Dali Lama and Malala Yousafzai sat down and wrote it out! Is that too much to ask?

For me 2015 will be full of changes starting with the end of this month. Frankly I just want to survive it.
