Next time we have Crayons ...

Maybe we could have a 'special' category.  One that changes from Crayon to Crayon.  Something a bit different.  Or maybe we could run it in parallel with Crayons or between them in the Sharing Fun and Silliness forum.  Got any ideas?

I can think of:

Best Post Title.  (I even know what I would have nominated this time.)

Best Line in a Post.

Favourite Incident in a Post.

Favourite Dolphineer.

All sorts of things.

What if there's just a special thread on here titled Best Post Title, Best Line, etc...one for each and then if you have something you want to call attention to you can just post in the thread. Maybe there can even be a subforum for these Best of things so there can be multiple threads going. I've seen this on other RPs. It's quite an 'honor' to sign on and see that someone has picked out a line or something you've said and posted it on the forum for others to acknowledge Just a thought.

This is a great idea Ames, I've seen this too in other sites and also a randomizer that sometimes will add random ones to a page I can be a great deal of fun!

As long as there's something about the wording that makes them not clash with Crayons (formal, over a fixed period) as I have enough trouble finding noms for Crayons without using them all up in between times.

Call the forum something like

I just read ...

and the topics are

... the best post title

... an excellent post at a Hall

etc

(There are awful examples but maybe the idea makes sense.)

Edited to add:  Yes, I like the idea of topics where we can give praise at any time.  I didn't say that.
