Argh! My poor little car died. It started making an awful noise and I brought it to the dealer asap, but apparently it ran out of motor-oil without the light turning on... Result: completely broken motor! R.I.P. little Suzuki! Luckily the bf has a car he hardly ever uses, so we decided we don't need to replace mine just yet, but it's still so incredibly frustrating when these things happen! Anyone have a good break story to cheer me up? ;-)

Miriah

My mind is broken and twisted. Does that count?

My car literally broke. I used to have an old Buick, and one day I hit a pothole pretty badly. The wheel well started making this little clinking noise so I brought it to my mechanic. He took one look under the car and told me that hitting that pothole had knocked all the rust out of the frame of the car, and that the rust was the only thing holding it together any longer. :P It went to Pick Your Part to be cannibalized shortly thereafter. Of course, this was also 2 years after the heater went in the car... and this is a serious issue when you live in a winter city! It used to get so iced over inside the vehicle that I'd have to scrape both the outside and inside before I could drive anywhere.

I loved that car.

At least it was a breakdown and not a collision.

Jelena

*snickers* Yeah, Miriah, that totally counts!

Sounds like a loyal little car Yvonne! Kept going no matter how wrecked he really was ^_^ Much like my little Suzuki. He shall live on in my memory! ;-)

But yeah, Leigh is right, could have been much, much worse :)

Thanks guys, you made me feel better!

Leigh

Glad to be of service, Jelly. ^n_n^
