Man, if the tickets hadn't been $1800, I would totally be buying tickets!  I already have places to stay lined up and everything  :crybaby:
But the sad thing is, I'd probably go to all the Japan games 'cause I don't know any of the players on the American team...  Sadness...

See, that's another reason why Americans can't really embrace soccer...  You're a major league team one year, and not the next.  What's the point?
Here in Japan, my local team won the championship last year, but was bumped down a league after one lousy season.  What's with that???  Now who do I root for?
The nice thing about American sports is once you're a major league team, you're always a major league team (until you get sold to another city and moved across country and the name changes).
