Me first!  (But no excuses for the rest of you not joining in!)

Jane in New Zealand.  Back living in my hometown after living all over the country while I was in the Air Force.  Retired now with grown up kids and grandkids.  Book collector and reader and ever so slightly obsessed with my Ragdoll cat, Sam.  (My age is on my profile, so there's no need to blurt out the awful truth here.)

I'm Francesca, currently living in Delaware, but returning to school in a few weeks in Vermont and then going to Italy to study for 10 months (Yay!!!).  I grew up in the Bay Area and graduated from college (in Ohio) a year ago.  I have been playing the Sims 2 for the past few months but will be going cold turkey when I'm back in school.  I'm also fairly obsessed with the Twilight series and am sad that I'll be seeing the next movie dubbed in Italian.  Italians don't seem to like subtitles.

Ok, now that I'm off the hook....who's next???

I'm Paula, I live in Finland. I'm married, two kids now 5 and 9 (nearly 10), no pets. I like to read and watch TV(Sci-fi mostly). I go to gym. I work. Oh, and I am always off-line during weekends (that'a dedicated to familytime).
And I if you don't know where Finland is, look at the map of Europe, the northern part of it. Right next to Russia.

Now that I'm back from vacation...

I'm Amanda, 31, married with a daughter (4), a son (2, turning 3 on July 9th), and five cats.  We live in Texas about an hour north of Dallas.  I love to read though most of my reading is children's books these days. I also love to write (though I'm not very good at it), sing (former vocal performance major), take pictures (http://www.flickr.com/photos/narilia), and quilt (it's a passion).  Um...anything else I should mention?

Methinks these slight obsessions mentioned previously are slight understatements. :-p

Vickie, probably the oldest member in the club. I was here at the beginning, left for a while, and then came back. I live in Maryland, am the director of a childcare center, and have two kids who live far from me (my son in Florida, my daughter in Korea). My roommate is a cat named Slink.

My name is Roxanne. I am a special education teacher living just outside of Houston, TX. I'm married, but we have no kids yet just animals. Two crazy dogs and one cat that like to try and take over the house. I've got a rather unbusy summer, but am taking two classes that will go towards my certification as a teacher of the visually impaired.

Other than writing, I enjoy reading immensely and will read just about anything. My book list goes from Christian and/or Amish fiction all the way to paranormal suspense/romance and beyond on occassions. Sims 3 has got my attention quite a bit lately.
