Quote from: "Vix"I also felt left-out when I was young because my friends would come back from the dentist complaining that their mouths were numb from the novacaine. My dentist never used the stuff -- so I still feel that I was missing out.
Eeek!  You sure were missing out - on something very necessary!

Phobias!  I have phobias.  Can I be friends with the allergies crowd now?  :geek:

I've never had them, and you can't miss what you've never tasted!! :)

And really, it's no competition. I'd 100% rather be not allergic to anything, and the 'Allergy Queen' crown is one that I'd gladly relinquish!

Hmm. Allergies. Food wise I don't have any, yet. My mother is allergic to wheat (it's actually tied in with celiac disease, which tends to manifest in the 30-40 range in our family, so I'm kind of dreading leaving my twenties even though I've developed a taste for wheat free brownies), and my grandfather is diabetic. I'm not technically allergic to it, but for some reason just the smell of barbecue sauce makes me nauseous, and there's a particular type of perfume out there that sends me into uncontrollable sneezing fits if it's in the same building (very annoying when you're working). We've got half a dozen other allergies floating around the family, (rice, shrimp, etc) which makes for some really fascinating meals.

The only thing I know I'm allergic to is the Pertussis vaccine, and we only figured that one out when it nearly killed me as a baby and left me legally deaf. Thank goodness we only need that vaccine once!
"Permission to cover my nakedidity, sir?"
