Celebrating 1000 Marks

Whee!  I finally stopped spending long enough to reach the thousand mark ... mark.  (1010, actually.)  This is the most marks I've had since joining!

So far I've shelled out for:

* 10 - Free Triadweyrs E-mail Address

* 500 - Forever Reqs Free Level 4 Persona at a Weyr. (Ayona)

* 600 - Forever Reqs Free Level 4 Persona at a Hold/Hall. (Lineal)

And I notice, though it wasn't what made me want to buy them, that those last two include 'Rank limits do not apply' which I might appreciate more as time goes on.

I might need to keep a few back for the Mason Hall, but right now I could have a HAD if I wanted one, but since I don't I'm just creating a marks stockpile.

What's left to stockpile for?

Halls?  Nope.  We're a veritable breeding ground for Halls right now.  I can just join those with a PC once they're built.

Goldriders young or old?  Mmm?  No, I don't think so.

A new Hold?  Well, actually, I do have a use for one of those ...

Yes, I'm asking for the millionth time (because plans do change often around here): What are you folks planning to do with your marks?

(Now, Ainsley, if you wanted to set up a 12 step programme for people with adictions to marks ...  Yeah, I might need one of those - as long as I don't have to spend marks to join!)

She speaks the truth, Ainsley -- you should have seen the agonizing over that 10 marks for a Triad mail account.

What am I saving for? I haven't a clue.

I actually, think I caught some of that when I was reading through the forums, Vix!  After tat I wouuld have thought Jane was saving for something special.  Congratulations by the way, Jane on your 1000+ marks!  Savingn is a good thing - not an addiction - no need for recovery or remediation there!  Okay, well the angonizing over the 10 marks for the account may have been questionable...

Well, I have some time before I have to worry about spending, but I figure I might just do a Triad account and then save for a ranking persona or contribute to that healer hall of Avril's if that pans out.  I've got a bit of time to think on it.

I was saving for a HAD... but I've got her now so...  I might get:

325 - Parent of new persona is an NPC Lord Holder.

for my Heir of Benaroy, but thats really all thats on my list now.  My goldrider still exists but I'm in no hurry to play her.

If you count all my marks I am over the thousand mark! I could get a HAD if I wanted... but I haven't been in the mood!

You could be a venture capitalist for marks!  Putting in marks to projects you don't necessarily want to be involved in ...  Okay, that's silly!
