Seriously!  There is an amazing eclipse in progress, visible throughout Europe and the Easty Coast of North America.  Go see it if you can!

Eimi

And just what were you doing indoors, then, missy?

You know I saw a lunar eclipse once when I was in high school.  It took so long for that final half sliver that I finally gave up and went inside.  (That and I was on the top of a mountain in Nevada in winter and I got just a LITTTTTTLE bit fronzen)

I came in when my camera battery died. Besides, the eclipse was in totatilty from 22:44 to 23:58 last night and it was COLD outside!

But pictures to follow later....

I wouldn't have seen the entire thing.  I was in the wrong part of the US to see the full eclipse.  But I caught it when it was rising.

Avery

It was cloudy right after sunset and when the moon rose, but I did manage to catch it when about the last 1/4 was still covered! I wish I could have seen totality but at least seeing some of it was good enough.

I thought the moon looked weird last night. I'm in the midwest, so I wouldn't have seen the whole thing, but when I went out, it did look like someone had taken a bite out of it. ;)

Rochelle

I missed it :( I saw the post and went out to check, and got the first eighty drops of rain up my nose for my trouble.
"Permission to cover my nakedidity, sir?"

Ooh Pretty.  Gosh your moon was small.  It must be a location thing, ours was about the visual size of a beach ball... and I've seen those ones that take up the whole horizon down south, wow.

LOL - The zoom on a phone camera isn't as good as on my regular camera, which ghad the batteries die on me!
