Which Craft would you apprentice to?

I was looking over the craft specialties while contemplating a new persona earlier, and I was thinking there's such a wide variety of crafts on Pern. I know there's probably a bunch of us who would want to be a dragonrider or a holder, but say you had to be in a craft - which ones would you consider?

(Okay, you can also totally answer another Pern job as well as a Craft, I can't stop you ;) )

I love to bake when I'm stressed out, so the Baker Craft would be awesome. I love the ocean and dolphins and I've swam with them before at Marineland, so I could see myself as a Dolphineer too. But I think my third-place preference would be Technician, because it's interestingly unique and there's science and electricity!

Either a Harper, I was a teacher for a while, or a beastcrafter

I could also see myself as a cook or part of headwoman's staff.

I'd probably do Harper stuff too. Either go into art, or go the other direction and go into policy and politics. Harpering means you do a lot of things. Either that, or the Smithcraft (because I like making things! - probably pottery) or I'd end up in the kitchens somewhere, cooking all day.

Not sure whther I'd be technician, playing with gadgets all day, or a baker crearting funky cupcakes and breads ;)

Most of my talents are pretty useless in the real world, but maybe on Pern I'd be a headwoman's assistant; I can keep inventory pretty well. But I'd probably go for Harper too. To have the chance to sing and act professionally would be a dream come true.

Well....I wouldn't have gone into sailing on Pern probably (since it's not as militaristic and such) and me being a girl...
I would have probably ended up a Headwoman what with my OCD and love of lists and interest in delegation.

If I had to pick a craft though, I'd probably say farmercraft. I love to garden, dig in the dirt, and grow things. Something I inherited from both grandfathers. So yeah..that'd be me. Plus I work hard and such.

I love all things medical...find it fascinating!  I also have an affinity for wine and would love to learn the intricacies of making it!

Smith for me, but on Pern, not at Triad.  In general the higher the technical environment the greater the specialisation which doesn't appeal.

Definitely a Harper for me - I am a teacher, I play piano and mandolin, I sing, I love photography and graphic design (and writing, of course)... Yep, Harper.
