2024 Goldrider Contest

Who is eligible?

Any member who is off mentorship and is not currently on probation is eligible! The only exceptions are if you already have a Weyrwoman or Weyrleader - this is to make sure your new Weyrwoman's Second could be promoted to Weyrwoman should the need arise.

How do I enter?

Please submit a complete persona sheet for your goldrider here. As previously stated, your persona should be:
- 25+ turns old
- A Stable Character - Would have been promoted to this position on merit.
- Writer is willing to post frequently to meet reqs for this Level 3 Persona

Details of the Contest

Submit your character sheet no later that March 15th 2024. All submissions will be reviewed by the council and top 3 will move to the next stage. Each of the three contestants will write an 'interview' post with N'vanik & Cyradis. The sheets and posts will be provided to the club for voting by mid-April.

To make the contest a vote based on writing and not based on OOC popularity, the vote will be blinded - club members will not know what sheet and post belong to what contestant. So if you enter the contest, as Gandalf said, 'Keep secret! Keep it safe!" 😛

The winning persona will be approved by the council for the position. All three posts will be sent to the list for posting on the site, with the runner up posts handled like any post involving an NPC.

Should you wish, you may keep your goldrider sheet in reserve for additional adult goldrider contests in the future.
