Possible Rule Changes and Activity Ideas!

Hi! Just to give a quick update - the Council has a draft update to the rules and the FAQ concerning dragonrider sexuality. We are currently working on making sure we're agreed on it, and that we address the important points raised by a few people about how it works with the existing club history.

For now, I think it would be a good idea if we pause that particular aspect of the discussion in this thread for now until the FAQ is published?

If anyone has points they'd still like to make then please feel free to share them with the council (or a council member if it's easier) and we will take them into account as best we can.

Hopefully the updated FAQ will deal with some of these concerns. It might not be ideal - as was previously mentioned, transitioning over from these old rules is a complicated matter! We need to find a balance between staying consistent with the club's history and existing characters, what is now accepted about sexuality compared to when the books were written, and giving members the chance to write characters they're interested in or feel represent them. It might take a bit of time - bear with us, and thanks for doing so, so far
