General Copost Requests / Re: Slow Summer?

I'm not exactly on a "reply-every-day" trend (must get back into it) but I am responding.
Parale -- need a follow-up with Tanas?
I also have Tamaca at RBW.

Actually, I had already contacted Council asking that they be given assignments -- we can change them to state graduated but currently we don't do the wing assignments.

Supposedly my crazy work schedule has ended and I'm now available to write. Help me get back into it: copost with me!

NaNoWriMo & Other Writing / Re: Anyone else?

I made it past 50k.
I meet with my writing group from November on some Saturdays. Usually I edit. I've currently edited my 2003 NaNo, which is part one of a lengthy series. This is followed by 2008, then 2002 and 2004. I'll probably be printing the first part for one of my writing partners to beta soon.

Introductions / Re: Introductions Reversed
June 21, 2009, 01:35:51 PM
My turn.
Vickie, probably the oldest member in the club. I was here at the beginning, left for a while, and then came back. I live in Maryland, am the director of a childcare center, and have two kids who live far from me (my son in Florida, my daughter in Korea). My roommate is a cat named Slink.
I'll gladly copost, but hate to start posts.

I'm still waiting to hear of the name of my first grandniece. My niece and her husband have announced that their new addition will be a girl, but are making all of us wait until the actual birth (about 2 weeks) before telling us what name they have selected.

Welcome back, Amy!
And yes, I still have a folder set up for you in my mentoring file.

Whenever I see an announcement like this, it takes me a few minutes to recover and remember that the US Mother's Day isn't until May and I haven't forgotten my own mom.
But Happy Mother's Day to all anyhow!

Sharing, Fun, & Silliness / Re: How Do You Organise Your Triad Emails?
March 17, 2009, 03:48:10 PM
I thought that I was fairly organized until I saw Jane's.
I have separate folders for areas: DCW/DH/HH/EFH, DFW/AHH/VH, RBW/GVH/SH, SWE. These are for the posts that have been sent to the Triad mailing list and remain there until they are timelined. After that, they go to "Unread" unless I have read them while timelining or they are my own, and then they go to "Read" or "My Posts."
I also have an "ongoing copost" folder with emails that I have already replied to.
In addition, each of my mentees has a folder in my "mentoring" file. When I release someone from mentoring, the entire mentee folder gets moved to the "released" file.
Other folders I use are "Crayons" (posts I want to remember), "My Personas," "Welcome" (notifications of new personas that have been approved), and "Miscellaneous Letters."
I should probably mention that I use Thunderbird for only my Triad mail account.
