Sharing, Fun, & Silliness / Pernese exclamations
December 06, 2008, 09:43:56 AM
Alright so we all know what the average Pernese says when they're pissed.  Sharding!  Oh Faranth!  By the Shell!  Shells and Shards!  Faranths Egg!  There's a decidedly long list of acceptable slang terms to show your Pernese frustration.

What I want to know is what you'd say if you were happy.  Do they still say cool, awesome, sweet?  I'd like to think so but I'm also certain that there are a bunch of other new terms the kids say when they see something particularly spectacular?  I'd like to think so.  So what do you guys think they might say?

Here's what I've come up with so far:

Clutching   (That is so clutching!)

Ok so thats not much but its a start.  What ones can you guys think of?

Sharing, Fun, & Silliness / Re: Christmas Plans?

I get out of school December 12th and have until the 12th of January before I have to be back.  I plan to visit my High School, and my mom has some cleaning plans for me back home.  It's going to be a mellow Christmas season all around, we rarely do big family things.  So yeah.

Whoa look at all those requests!  Ok guys thanks I'll send out starts as I can.  I don't want to overload myself since its getting up to finals week here.  Ugh. xDDD

Kastaka,
I'poro's pretty new at the whole dragonrider thing.  I don't think Foroth's been around long enough to know if he can Search yet.  Sorry.  We can still do something else if you want though.

Hey I am all for 3 way plotting don't get me wrong.  I finished up the revamps and I'm just waiting on the Council's word and I'll be all set for coposting.  Hopefully.

And just so everyone knows, I've developed an affinity for the dark side, so if you ever need a baddie played (be it NPC or PC) I'm your guy.  I can do em all.  Prissy witches, serial killers, rapists, you ask and I can dish it out.  It's kind of a hobby of mine actually xDDDDDD

And continued thanks for the continued warm welcomes!  Its awesome to hear from all of you again!

I'd like to keep most of them yes.  My two DCW greenriders are gone I think, as are Kosten and Viriana.  So I'm keeping Faran, Saria, Kouna, I'poro and Ranza.  I want to bring in (hopefully the first of many) a male greenrider I recently thought up, you can see his pic and name in my sigmap.  He's Ny'koel, a very 'loose' greenrider with a big heart and an even bigger marks budget xDDDD.  Very typical greenrider with an undertone of charming, and his green is delightfully witty.  I can't wait to start playing him and all the fine characters I've missed so much.  I've just about finished with their revamps and once I hear from the council I'll be all set to get things rolling.

Thanks all of you for your warm welcomes so far.  Glad to see some people still remember me!

Introductions / So what do you call me?

a new oldie or an old newbie?

Hi everyone, some of you may remember me from a few years back.  I was a naive little newbie with a tendency to make too many female characters and a relatively poor writing style.  I left for reasons I'd rather not get into and thought I'd turned my back on this place.  Then one day I got an email forwarded to me from an old Triad friend, Cali. (HAI CALI!!!)  She said she missed me and was wondering if I'd ever come back.  Her email made me curious, and after a little personal debating I decided to look at my profile for old times sake.  The character profiles were seriously outdated and so sparse I could barely force myself to read them.  But just seeing the names of those old characters brought back so much nostalgia there was no way I could stay away.  My mind already began planning revamps and new characters, who I'd drop and who I'd keep.  Triad had once again dug itself under my skin and stayed, an itch I couldn't scratch at my myriad other sites.  I had to come back.

So here I am!  A lot has changed since I left, with myself and with my RPing.  I'm not that naive little boy who didn't know who he was or where he was going.  I've found myself, my calling, and my purpose, a lot more than others can claim I know.  I'm an admin on two other Pern RP's (Iayla and Solum) and have learned a lot about leading and Pern.  I've been utterly curious as to whats going on here in my absence and want to meet all the new (and old) faces that have cropped up since I've been gone.

In short, I'm back.  Hopefully to stay this time.  And I hope that any hard feelings or misplaced anger or whatever may have been shot my way after I left can all be swept under the bridge and everything started afresh.  I'm really excited to be back here, and hope I can make some new tracks on old footpaths, or something like that.  Since when did I get so nostalgic? xDDDDD

Anyways yeah... so who remembers me? *hopes for a bunch of them*

Basically my entire bookshelf is the land of rereading.  Harry Potter, Tamora Peirce, Diane Daune,  any book up there on my shelves is up for rereading grabs.

I have a notebook I use to write down all my creative ideas, so if I don't have access to my computer I put it down in there.  When I'm at home my ideas go right onto a word document, and I fiddle with them there.

I watched the normal amount of educational kids shows.  Sesame Street, Blues Clues and the like.  But I had a thing for cartoons as a kid, when I was watching tv at all.

Even at five I had a slight obsession with anime.  I loved to watch Pokemon and Digimon and actually when I was four I used to get up at 7:30am on Saturday mornings, sneek into my parents room, sit on their floor and watch Sailor Moon on their tv.  Its one of my earliest tv memories actually.

Well I'd take my cellphone, which doubles as an MP3 player, so I can haves me my music.  Gotta have my music.

My bookshelf, complete with book collection.  Its one thing I swear!  xD

And a compendium of drawing apparati.  Which includes pencils and pens, paper and a laptop and scanner so I can work on my digital artwork.

So all in all I'd only be bringing about three suitcases full of crap.  thats still three things right? xD
