I don't have a dragonrider at DCW yet, but I'm happy to do a NPC.

Thanks everyone. I did get an x-ray and there's no fractures or dislocations. Just a really really bad sprain.

Also, I did think about Dorana right after I did it. LOL Life imitating art, indeed.

In WoW, I have died many a time to the 'Elevator Boss' where I thought I was going to catch it, but didn't and then fell down the shaft. LOL

Oh I did myself a number that's for sure. No broken bones or anything but I really messed up my fingers. I wrenched them backwards when I landed on my hand and so now they're all swollen and the joints are all purple. And if I try to grip anything with my hand it hurts so much. But I can wiggle my fingers and everything so there's no real damage it's just I guess like a bad sprain or something. And then of course there's my knee and the big patch of scraped up bruise on my thigh. And lots of little bruises on the sides of my arms. It could have been a lot worse if I'd have fallen more than eight steps or maybe even if I hadn't had the table there to be honest I probably would have broke something but the what kind of pinned me in or or acted like a cage or something so I have a lot of bruises where I hit up against the legs and the steps but I didn't tumble as much as I might have.

All in all I'm extremely sore and likely to be even more sore tomorrow. Which means I'm going to be a big whiny baby for awhile LOL

I fell down eight steps of the stairwell in the apartment building I'm moving from while carrying a table. No lasting damage to me or the table, but I'm going to have some spectacular bruises on my right knee and thigh and all the fingers except my thumb on my left hand got wrenched back when I kind of landed on it.

The guy who lives in the downstairs apartment under mine came running out in a panic and then was very nice. Got the table off of me and carried it out and everything. lol

I'm taking a bit of a break before going back and finishing up in there. lol

Do you get the bonus location points for creating a character in a bonus location if you don't manage to get a post out for them before the end of the month? I meant to do a solo for my new healer guy, since getting a copost done in a week isn't always possible, but I never got around to it which is my own fault.

I vote for something like a Technician, Miner, Woodcrafter! Though plenty of others can be useful!

I might do an NPC that I can turn into a real person later, like I did with Dorana....

I could have sworn somewhere in the FAQ there was an article listing common prices for things in Pern. Bottles of wine, fancy cloth, a runner beast, you know things people would buy. It was just supposed to be like a general guideline so folks wouldn't charge 60 marks for the cake and three marks for a horse or something crazy like that in their posts. I can't find it anywhere though so I guess I imagined it or it got lost over time. In any case, anyone have any idea how many marks would be represented by about $10? Asking for a post that I'm working on with Avery. Would half a mark be about right?

ETA: or I'm just not looking in the right place. LOL which is actually the most likely scenario. 😂

So, say I wanted to make a character that was kind of based on a fictional character that I like. Different name, and Pernese details in the history and so on, of course, but the personality and craft choice is kind of based off of this fictional character.

Is that allowed?
