As you know, R'enh is moving to DFW to be Wingleader of Torrent wing.  As I was looking at the other wings, I saw they were all colors of blue with the exception of the queens wing.

In keeping with this I thought it might be nice to change the name of the wing to another form of blue. Consulting of course with Emma we thought the members might like to vote or suggest their own options.

I wish we could vote for multiple options as there's two I like! I think it's a great idea to rename it to fit in with the theme of DFW's wings. I noticed they were all color names, but I'd never noticed they were all shades of blue (minus Queen's). So I guess we shouldn't suggest non-blue ones?

My only worry with sapphire is it's a gem name and overlaps with our hold naming pattern.

The only other blue word I can think of is:  Iris buuuttt I like Cobalt :)

Paula, if this helps, I used a Hex Color lookup to see roughly what some shades are.

Indigo (http://www.99colors.net/name/indigo)
Cobalt (http://www.99colors.net/name/cobalt)
Teal (http://www.99colors.net/name/teal) (more of a blue-green)
Viridian (http://www.99colors.net/name/viridian)

Edit: and while I'm at it, here's existing wing names in hex color!

I looked at this page for my initial options.  Leaving out things like Prussian and Oxford which wouldn't seem appropriate on Pern.

Looks like the winner is Cobalt!  So I've revised the name of the wing.

Now lets write!!!
