I'm Estelle, and I joined recently with candidate junior weyrling (yay!) R'fal (http://www.triadweyrs.org/persona.php?ps_id=1028) at Dolphin Cove Weyr.
I first read the Pern books, and participated in PBEMs, back in the late 90s/early 2000s. Last summer I was looking for something to read and picked up Dragonflight, which is the only one that's survived all of the home moves since then, and ended up tracking down and re-reading the others as well. Back then, Dragonflight was my favourite, but this time round Moreta was a close second. It's been lovely over the past few weeks finding more new Pern stories in my inbox and realising how much I missed writing!
My avatar is a 3D printed dragon (not life size...). She was printed from this design (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:246198) from Thingiverse. I'm hoping to get round to doing the other colours at some point!
