Title: Thanksgiving
Post by: Eimi on November 23, 2017, 06:46:20 AM
In Japan there is a national holiday on November 23rd every year.  Once in a blue moon, that holiday falls on the fourth Thursday of November meaning it coincides with Thanksgiving in America.  This of course is one of those years!  I couldn't let such a wonderful chance pass, and so I had some friends over and for the first time, I played host for a true Thanksgiving celebration!

Of course, after all the leftover turkey is packed away for sandwiches, it's time to reflect on what we are truly thankful for.  This year, I am truly grateful for my friends, both in real life and here at Triad.  I want to say thank you again for all of you welcoming me back after a three year hiatus.  I have truly enjoyed this last year of writing with all of you and getting to know you again.  And I look forward to more fun plots and mischief!   But for now, I just want to tell you that this Thanksgiving, I am thankful for you  :sheepish:

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I am Thankful for all of you and your great writing!  Thankful for the family members (20+) coming to my home today. Thankful that I have a room big enough to host them. Thankful that I have a job that provides comfort and all my needs. Thankful for my God and His great faithfulness.

Whether you celebrate Thanksgiving this way or not, I pray that you have or will enjoy it with friends and family.

Happy Thanksgiving! We don't celebrate it here but the thought behind it is beautiful.
