So as I announced in the cbox I've been thinking about this for a long time. I've seen some of these online but I haven't seen a real topographical representation of the entire globe. Now since I'm sort of immobile for a bit I thought I'd get started.

There are lots of layers sneeded to build this up and I'll add to it as I go.
1. I started with a basic map of Pern from an online search. http://static2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120707142930/pern/images/f/f1/PernMapComplete.jpg. This was a good candidate as I could easily select the color blue and delete it. Then I erased all the additional wording and markers and changed the continents to white. That is my starting picture.
2. I worked in multiple layers to create an underwater topography just trying to use logic and the way the land looks to build it up.
3. Starting the same process to build up the land and mountains in the areas where canon puts them. I will note here that there are multiple maps of the northern continent which show only a much smaller portion of the world so some of this is guesswork and imagination.
You're amazing, you know that.
That's super cool so far! And of course it makes me curious about all the spaces we don't see on our current map, because I'm nosy.
Yes, don't you just itch to fill them up?
So now here is the globe, I have a full set of shops that sweep all the way around but this one is the on that is focused on our RP. Triad from Space!! (is it wrong that the muppets "Pigs in Space") theme just trotted through my mind?
