While I was on vacation, I got a call from the vet (where she was boarding) to tell me Buffy died. She had a seizure and her heart stopped. She was an old kitty, almost 19 years old and had health problems. I knew this might happen but it still breaks my heart.
I'm thankful that she wasn't alone. The vet was with her at least. And I didn't have to make a hard decision.
This is the last picture I took of her.

Oh no, she's really pretty. I should share a last pic of my kitty. I'm so sorry, I grieve with you and feel the pain.
*hugs* I'm so sorry to hear that. I'm glad that she had a friendly person there to pet her as she passed. They're such a part of your family, and they leave such a hole when they leave.
I'm so sorry, hon. My deepest condolences. (hugs)
*hugs* I am sorry for you. Cats are such wonderful creatures.
Oh my dear how hard that is. I know it's coming soon for my sweet Calliope. She's such a sweet old lady.
I'm so sorry Becki. I'm sure everyone here feels like their pets are family too. It's devastating to lose such a beloved pet, but I hope soon you can look past the sadness at all the great memories you made together *hugs* Same goes for Avery of course!
* hugs very tight*
Awww Becks. Sorry to hear that, but glad she's resting in a good place now so no more seizures or painful things to go through. *hug*
Just read this and I'm sorry to hear about Buffy, Becki. (What a great age for a cat.) Was she a Ragdoll?

I don't know what breed she was. Her mom belonged to a neighbor and was a short hair black & gray tabby. Buffy and one of her brothers were longhaired and white. I think her father was something like a Birman or a Ragdoll.
