Heya,
Recently I was allowed to have the vacant spot for the Hall master of the Vintner Hall. Since it could be a place that could see a lot of plotlines and stories, before I create this man I was wondering what sort of Master would any of you like to see? It's just that it's occurred to me that it might be a lot more fun to create the man around our plots than to create plots around a character, right? So are there any burning stories that anyone is dying to tell? Perhaps a blue/green rider who has fallen for him? Or a Lady from the Hold wanting a secret fling? Or perhaps a few of his children to create mischief with? Or a teacher for that apprentice vintner you've been wanting to write? Or maybe a liberal who'll stand up to the conservative Lord Holders? :-)
Any ideas? :-D

Well, Keayd still needs to get promoted to senior journeyman despite his young age. And Alfginna needs to find a job before she ends up Rhosyn's doormat.
Let's see a plot in which a batch of wine is accidentally ruined, and the Master has to find out who did it, how it happened, why they didn't fess up, and if the wine can possibly be salvaged.
soooo......i has chupsin over at the Hold. as far as plots for the vintners.......i always thought the Vintner Hallmaster would sort of the be the real guy ruling all Pern. after all he who has the key to the alcohol is a very powerful man. and how he wielded to receive what he wanted and to influence things could be interesting. and then how would he react to smaller craft operations (like that at RBW) that could be competing with him on a small scale? IE: corporate vs craft brews? anyways...yeah i always thought that guy would be like a crafter Fax as far as level of power and control, even though the Benden Hold winemaster was too nice a guy to really use it
