Title: Sneaking in to introduce myself
Post by: Anika on October 13, 2014, 04:20:46 PM
Hey everyone,

I am new to Triad and thought I would drop in to say, "Hello."  I've been reading over the website for the past week or so and decided that it looked rather fun - so here I am.  I have adopted R'taran, rider to Brown Qharterioth  at Dolphin Cove Weyr.  I can't promise he will be the nicest person your characters encounter, but hopefully he will be interesting to post with nonetheless.

Cheers!

Anika

Hello Anika and Welcome in. Did you misspell your name, shouldn't it be Annika? ;) My middle name is Annika btw.

Where are you from?
Oh, If you want posts, I had loads of people in DCW.

Hurray for co-post possibilities and thank for the welcome!

Paula, though I hale from the US, much of Mother's family came from Sweden.  My godfather (born in Sweden) suggested my name and your comment is hilarious because according to family lore, when he saw the birth announcement he said, "You spelled it wrong." Oh well, he didn't hold it against me!

Thanks to everyone for your warm welcome!  I plan on taking up each and everyone of you on your kind offers of a co-post.  However, it will undoubtedly take me a bit of time to come up with a unique start for each.  You will be hearing from me soon, though!

Heya Anika! I've only have one guy at DCW, but you're welcome to interact with him (tho he might try to rope your guy into strangling a certain weyrling) ;-)

Hello Anika, and welcome! My bronzerider J'nus flies in the same Wing as R'taran, perhaps we could copost as well? I'm happy to bounce ideas around, and to wait my turn! (starts can be hard!) I also have a technician at DCW and a green weyrling, and I'm happy to copost with any of them.

Great post, Anika.

**blushes** Thanks, Jane.

You are next on my list of people to send starts too.  I have been reading over R'haran's persona sheet to get ideas for a copost!

Also, thanks to Yvonne and Suzee for your notes of welcome.  I'll definitely be taking you both up on your offers!

I was actually a bit worried about having R'taran and R'haran in the same post. :)

Okay, I think I have sent off starts (or at least inquiry emails) to all the kind folks who offered a copost.  Thank you all for being so very welcoming.  You are a great bunch of people and I look forward to getting to know you better.  If you offered to copost with me and you have not heard from me, it was an oversight and you have my apologies.  Please contact me and I will remedy the situation.
