Title: Happy Birthday Eimi!
Post by: Chelle on May 15, 2013, 09:26:42 PM
To my goodly husband that puts up with so much from me-

Let ye be merry on this of days that you know how much I love thee and care for thee!
I await your return with baited breath and therefore sit silently by in my thoughts of you
For you are a wonderful husband in truth and a good friend to me in my times of trouble
I give thanks for you.

Okay seriously,

Happy birthday Eimi. Go do some karaoke or something that you like to do. Take a break from
all that work. Miss you buddy and wait for your comeback.

Thank you guys for the birthday messages!  I had a great time in Taiwan  :headbang:   I'll definitely be going back, though maybe in winter... It was already summer weather there (ie. hot and HUMID!)

But, it's definitely nice to be back in Japan.  Monday morning, I went to one of our elementary schools for the very first time, and after class a first grade boy walked up to me, clapped his hands together like he was praying in front of an alter and said, "EIGO NO KAMISAMA, OSHIETE KUDASAI" - "Goddess of English, teach me!"  I didn't have the heart to tell him I'm not a god, so I just said "I'll do my best!"

Anyway, it's good to be back, but I'm kind of a little slow still just because I had to hit the ground running full speed.  I'll get there though!  Thank you all for the kind words!
