I spent the whole day sending starts. I've sent at least one start to every single Member/Admin who has posted something themselves in the last year (which I discovered I could tell by looking at their Balance History on their membership page - I felt so clever when I figured that out. lol).
If I did somehow miss you, or you wish to return the favor, please do feel free to send me random starts as well! I only have one character (so far) but let's keep him busy! :bounce:
I love your enthusiasm!
Got mine!! Cheers!!
Hey guys, turns out I didn't realize I was sending out my starts without making sure they were plain text. Didn't even realize I was supposed to actually. I got yelled at about breaking the rule so I wanted to apologize to everyone and let you all know that I'll be more careful about it in the future. I hope it won't put anyone off posting with me! :geek: If you want me to resend the start I sent you in the proper text format, let me know! :bounce:
Don't worry about me. I have gmail set to plain text so if you send to me it converts. We're all good.
I've got mine on default too :)
And I've replied.
And you have got a reply ;)
Now then, gmail-peeps......can you share the secret of that setting with me?
C.
I will! Instead of hitting reply, on gmail we can hit 'forward' and it gets rid of all the annoying >>>>>>'s ;-)
I found a link at the top of the text box that says 'Plain Text' and if you click it, it'll convert it to plain text. And then, it's plain text from then on.
Also, I avoid the >>> By copying the text from the previous email and pasting it into the reply and then writing my bit under it. But forwarding works too, I guess! lol
Forwarding is SO much easier ^_~
No wai!
AAAANNNDD...
Ig o to do that, only to find I have *already* done it at some point distant.
*headdesk*
All the same, many thanks!
Actually if you click forward and then delete the header, you can click reply or reply all and all the names pop back in and no endless >>>>>
(tested in gmail)
I still like my way: Highlight, ctrl c, hit reply, ctrl a, ctrl v, type type type, hit send. :flower:
I do that too Arale, except I use mouse-buttons for the copy-paste.
Chelle is old school.
Control C, Control V, type type, send. :)
