I've been a Florida Gator since I was young. My Uncles used to take me to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium every weekend until I was in high school. I miss it alot. I am a firm believer in the idea that the SEC is the most competitive, high quality playing conference. Of course those schools also have some of the oldest programs in the country, so it makes sense. This year, it's going to be interesting since Florida had to give up Tebow to the pros. The new kid, Brantley, might live up to his hype though I don't think he'll have a great season till next year at least. Alabama, on the other hand, is still in full swing. So we shall see.

Sorry Len - Egg chasing is over for the season with the Grand Final at Old Trafford next weekend. You're talking about the posh boys game which isn't really played in my part of the world. althought the Four Nations does kick off on 23rd October.
Oh yeah, you guys are more Rugby Leage, aren't you? We've lost our resident gay icon to that sport. Rugby Union down here is a Valleys, working man sport....no posh boys allowed. :P

I'm really much more a baseball fan but I do appreciate football.
I'm more an NFL fan. I love the Seahawks and I watch them every chance I can get (I was raised on Seattle sports teams).
But for college, I route for the North West teams. Especially Washington State Cougars. Every year when we have the Apple Cup, when University of Washington and Washington State play each other, I'm all Crimson and Grey. I'm always better with the Husky fans on the Apple Cup!

Bite your tongue! Houston is not even a very REAL team... they've barely been around....although that kid Houston snaked from Tennessee, Arian Foster, ROCKS. He's burning up the fantasy leagues and helping his Texans win games.

Hmm...NFL.. used to be a Jacksonville Jaguars and Tampa Bay Buccs girl. And then I went to the Titans side. Now..I don't really care honestly. :) Although the Broncos have Tebow so maybe I'll root for them.
Bummer that we lost to Alabama but if there was one team that could beat us, it was them. And we had a brand new quarterback, so I give the kid credit. We'll see how things go this weekend.
