I have to say that I've enjoyed what I've read so far. I've some experience writing RP but on a forum based format. I've never played by mail but my mentor is showing me the ropes and so far I have to say that it's fun. I've played a few dragonriders in the past and am fairly familiar with canon.
I have 4 kids and live in Southern California.
I hope to meet you all soon both in and out of character.

I look forward to posting with ya. I actually started out in chatbased RPG and then came to Triad, which was my first ever PBEM game. (yeah okay I'm old) and now I don't even do chatbased anymore heh. I've found this is an awesome medium and I hope you like it-us-it. :)

Thanks for all the welcome guys. Yes, no worries, I know now enthusiastic Ames can get and she doesn't scare me anymore.
I will enjoy playing with you all. Starting a little slow at first as I still have obligations on some forums where I'm also an admin so I want to try and keep a good balance.
I am enjoying the different style of the PBeM. Still learning the ropes so please forgive any mistakes.

I'm having a blast so far with my two characters. I've been writing with several of you and can't wait until all our work shows up on the site.
I like the way D'ale's story is starting to flesh out. The style of writing here was a little surprising at first, but I'm beginning to really enjoy it. I'm finding it a bit easier to write the individual posts.

One other thing I meant to tell you all about me. I do web art and have made some Pern maps in the past. For example I did this one for a forum based DRoP site.

The island outline is from an official map of Pern but I enlarged these islands where that RP is set and added all the topography. I also did another for the Weyr itself.
I would be happy to help out with this kind of thing in the future should the need arise.
