So, I have a question...
I'm getting ready to head out to my favorite restaurant with a couple friends and watch the Japan game tonight, decked out in my blue jersey and with my blue towel, and I couldn't help but wonder... Besides Emma and my own little trash talk session, I was wondering if anyone is actually following the World Cup. I keep hearing about World Cup fever in the states... Is that all talk? Or are people actually getting interested in it all? I'm just curious!
I'm not really that interested. My husband has a passing interest, was more interested when US was in it. I think that interest may have died down for others now that the US has been eliminated....not sure about fever. We don't get telly stations so we don't know what other people are thinking. *shrug*
Our tv is open and tuned in for the World Cup games. :happy1: I think the German-Enland game was very interesting (Bad luck, Emma). And Japan did really well.
:brave:
I'm putting my money on Ghana now, I drew them in the sweepstake ;)
If I were a gambling type, I would be betting my money on dutchs right now....
I don't know... If Germany beats Spain, I think Germany could take it all. I'd like to see Spain vs. Netherlands, though ;)
I had money on Brazil.....
Emma, it doesn't sound like your money is very lucky... First England, then Ghana, now Brazil... You're like the opposite of that octopus :pirate:
spain vs netherlands. I pick spain. Though itd be great if the dutchies won. good on them and all that.
Wait, so Germany and Uruguay have to play too? Is that for third place? I didn't even know...
The gold and the bronze are won.. the silver is lost.
I was talking to my Irish friend tonight and he described the game as "the game to determine who sucks the least" XD
Well, "Oranje" lost and Spain won. Remind me not to bet with Chelle.
And Helsinki cup started.. my son has his first plays today's evening.

I ought to mention that to my cousin's team. He was voted player of the year! He's a nifty little goalie.

went to vegas and didnt even spin a wheel. HAHA.

Hey Chelle, it's ok... What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas...
