But, for forum post to member rewards conversion, why not just use post counts as the number of member rewards for posting earned? If a person then wants to transfer their post count to the site to buy something you can use something like this: http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopi ... 9&t=595124 (http://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=69&t=595124) to change the member's post count on the forums to subtract the number of post points they moved over. Just get rid of the 'points for starting a thread' option - or manually count that up or something (but that could be annoying, I think).
I'm only bugging on this cause I'm all sorts of greedy and want tens of thousands of points worth of goodies. LOL

Resolving the member rewards system on the forums is definitely on the Council's list of things to do, but, to be honest, though we understand that the member rewards were a big draw for people to post things on the forums, we have other things that need more immediate attention. There have been a couple things we have tried that did not work, and we will have not forgotten it, we certainly intend to take a look at all possible ideas about how we can solve this problem, but for right now, it will have to wait.

Oh, I didn't mean to sound impatient and out of sorts about it. I'm not really. I understand that there's lots to do and other stuff takes precedence, I really do. I was just tossing out an idea I thought might work to see if it would work. Partially because I figure that the Council has a lot to do and might not have the time to dig into every possibility to fix the issue. I thought, maybe with all the normal Council type things to do, coposts to write, their own plots to dream up, real life issues to take care of, it probably doesn't leave a lot of room for considering this. I just thought I'd do a little leg-work, so to speak - do a little digging to see if there was a way to change the counts cause it was an idea I had, and make a suggestion that you all could consider.
I didn't mean to step on any toes or to seem like a brat. :( The thread title and joke about me being greedy were meant to be funny, not impatient or naggy. I'll just drop the issue though and leave it to you all. I really didn't mean anything by it.
