We know there are other wings at the Weyrs, but they really don't get mentioned. Maybe the leadership at each Weyr could make up some NPC wings that could be used? I was thinking of DCW specifically, but it could be for the other two as well.
This came up when me and a few others were taking about Sr Weyrling graduations and where the new riders would go. It could be handy for family members and friends of our PC riders, too.

We're talking this over Becki. If we decide to go with naming some NPC wings, we'll come up them for all the Weyrs and post them. Nice thought :)

Becki, Jane, and I thought up some neat ones for DCW (Avalanche, Lahar, Typhoon, Landslide come to mind), maybe we could all vote on them? It'd be a fun game to name the NPC's! :D

Is this statement correct? Are there really more than the five named wings at each Weyr?
This is just the beginning of the Pass and the Weyrs are not at their full strength yet, but we think that yes, there would be more. Since I've been here the Council has never named a specific number because they don't want to limit our possibilities down the road. The other wings have always been silent and unnamed.
